Feel free to use the recreation ground and facilities at the east of the village. If you play tennis or otherwise use the multi use games area, a donation of £5 per hour is requested- see the notice board.
The Olympiad swimming pool and leisure centre in Chippenham is among other things a good wet weather option.

Charlton Park hosts the World of Music and Dance ("Womad") festival.
The Badminton Horse trials in May attract a large attendance over several days. Advance booking for the event (and in practice, accommodation) is required.
